Kelsey Mulholland joined the firm as Counsel in January 2015.  Mr. Mulholland is admitted to the New Jersey Bar and U.S. District Court of New Jersey. He is also licensed to practice in the State of New York. He first gained an interest in family law while attending law school and pursued a career in that field upon his graduation. During a one year clerkship for a family judge in Passaic County, he gained extensive experience in the areas of domestic violence, paternity and custody/support matters. After his clerkship, he began practicing law at a general practice firm, focusing particularly on family law, criminal law, real estate, estate planning and municipal court matters. Soon thereafter, he chose to dedicate his career exclusively to family and matrimonial law matters.

Mr. Mulholland represents clients in all stages of family law litigation and his practice involves all aspects of family law. He also has substantial experience with appeals. Over the past ten years, he has gained extensive trial experience while appearing in courtrooms in Morris, Passaic, Essex, Bergen, Sussex, Warren and Somerset counties.

Mr. Mulholland has substantial experience with complex family law matters involving high net worth divorces (including the valuation of businesses and family trusts) as well as protracted custody litigation.

Mr. Mulholland serves as an Early Settlement Panelist in Morris County and is also qualified as a court-approved mediator.  He has spoken at various engagements.

Mr. Mulholland’s Personal Approach to Family Law

“Every client and case is different. The same approach or blueprint cannot be applied in every matter. I enjoy family law because each case presents its own challenges and its own set of circumstances. Family law allows me to be creative and to craft lasting agreements that fit the needs of my clients. If a settlement is not possible, I have extensive trial experience and will make sure that your matter is prepared for trial so that you can get the best outcome possible. I value the relationships that I develop with clients and I make sure that they are involved and informed during every step of what can be a long and arduous process.”
